What is it?

2 hour outdoor walks, led by experienced youth coach and sports instructor, Grace Tsaousidis. Walks will consist of outdoor education, activities, and games!

When is it?

Every Sunday 10 AM-1 PM.

Where is it?

Local trails and parks in Oak Ridges and surrounding areas.*

*NOTE Walk locations change every week, make sure to check your email for more information!

How to attend?

My Inspiration

After travelling over the summer, I gained a major insight-- there is power in novelty. When we view things as new and different, we experience a shift in perspective. This shift from the familiar to unfamiliar ignites a sense of excitement and curiosity, driving a desire for discovery.

How can we harness the power of novelty to benefit our daily lives?

If we take a few moments to pause, reflect, and appreciate the spaces that we live in, we can recognize their marvelousness. By doing so, we can ignite the same spark of excitement when exploring our own communities.

My Mission

Through Nature Walks with Grace, I seek to immerse youth in our community's natural environment. I aspire for these walks to be spaces for outdoor education and exploration, where learning about local ecosystems will foster a desire for conservation and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Join me on a walk and Pause in Nature!

I honour and acknowledge the ancestral lands on which we live, work, and create. These lands have been the home of Indigenous communities for thousands of years, whose deep connection to the earth, its ecosystems, and its creatures remains central to their cultures and traditions. I recognize the ongoing stewardship of these lands by Indigenous peoples, and I honour their continued resilience, knowledge, and practices. I express my gratitude to the the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, the Wendat peoples, and all Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island, past and present, for their enduring connection to the land and their role in the conservation efforts that shape our shared future. May our actions be mindful, our stories true, and our efforts sincere.
